Visiting Charleston, Folly Beach or Mt. Pleasant — or just looking to get out on the water? Sea Kayak Carolina offers daily kayak tours (2-3 hours, $49) suitable for even first-time paddlers. We feature regularly scheduled local adventures (5-6 hours, $60), or we'll work with you to plan your custom kayaking tour ($90) to a variety of Charleston kayaking destinations.
You couldn't hope for a better place to kayak; South Carolina offers beautiful coastal paddling for paddlers of all levels.
Salt marshes and coastal dunes are dramatic natural backdrops where we
see a wide variety of sea and shore birds – and bottlenose dolphin are a
welcome sight on many paddles.

Sea Kayak Carolina is the premier sea kayak shop in the southeast — a kayak school providing kayak classes for paddlers of all skill levels, and our certified instructors provide guided Lowcountry trips kayaking Charleston South Carolina
waterways. We are open daily 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., Sundays we close at
4 p.m., and on Mondays and Tuesdays we are available by appointment
only.

The American Canoe Association (ACA) offers skills
courses and assessments to paddlers of all skill levels. The courses
represent sets of skills, safety procedures and other materials deemed
appropriate for particular paddling environments. Assessments
by qualified trainers confirm skill levels and provide a basis for
ongoing skills development. Sea Kayak Carolina is proud to offer ACA
