Folly River to Bird Key
4 hours — $50
Join us at the Folly Landing for a fun and relaxing trip on the Folly River to Bird Key. We'll stop on a neighboring sandbar as Bird Key is a protected seabird nesting preserve. This is a great beginner trip – and a great trip for nature lovers. We usually see dolphins playing or feeding along the beach.

Stono River to Kiawah
4 hours — $50
We’ll launch from the Sol Legare Landing (Battery Island Rd) and paddle down the Stono River to land on Kiawah.
Morris Island Lighthouse
6 hours — $60
Ever wanted to kayak to the Morris Island Lighthouse? This is your chance. We’ll launch at the Folly landing and follow the Folly River to Lighthouse Creek. We’ll spend some time on the Island before riding the tide back home.
Cherry Point Landing (Wadmalaw) to Deveaux Bank
6 hours — $60
Seabird nesting colonies on Deveaux Bank are protected, so access to the island is limited. Paddling to the access provides lovely views of the barrier island habitat.
After Work Folly River
3 hours — $40
Oak Creek – around Oak Island: Relaxed Oak Island circumnavigation. A gentle paddle on the Folly River. A very nice way to spend the evening, and a great trip for beginning paddlers.
Advanced Beginner Trip
6 hours — $60
Garris Landing – to Bull Island (ICW to Price Creek).
Intermediate Trip: Folly Island Semi-circumnavigation
6 hours — $60
Note: paddlers must be willing and able to verify their paddling skill level before booking this trip.

What to Bring on a Sea Kayak Carolina Kayak Trip or Class
What Do You Need to Bring?

1) Clothes appropriate to the weather
– Nylon shorts or bathing suit*
– Synthetic shirt*
– Cap*
– Watershoes*
Note: Sandals and flip flops do not provide appropriate protection around the boat ramp, nor do they provide adequate heel support in the kayak.
2) Sunglasses.
We recommend polarized lenses for folks who spend
a lot of time on the water.
3) Sunglass (or prescription eyeglass) retainer*
4) Sunscreen*
4) Drinking water*
5) Snacks or lunch
6) A fleece jacket and a paddlejacket* in a drybag*
A good idea in the summertime; should be considered mandatory during
cooler weather. A change of clothes or towel is a good idea for after the trip.
